Berlin Ohio Table Tennis League

The Berlin Ohio Table Tennis League (BOTTL) currently has 9 members with 7 players playing on a daily basis. We currently have 2 tables in the basement of our office in Berlin, Ohio and play competitive singles and doubles matches during lunchtime. 7 of the 9 players in the league developed their love for the fastest sport in the world at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in Mt. Vernon , Ohio and are fortunate to have an employer that encourages physical wellness and recreational activities.

The league members range in age from 24 to 45 and in experience from beginners to players who have played recreationally for over 25 years. The top 2 players in the league have recently decided to make a conscious effort to improve their games by making the hour drive to Canton , Ohio on Tuesday nights to play against established USATT players at the Canton Table Tennis Club. The league director played his first USATT tournament (winning 4 of 6 round robin matches) in Newark , Ohio on May 19th.

The BOTTL is a newly founded USATT league characterized by members who love the game of table tennis and love to compete against each other. The league members are currently exploring the possibilities of starting a public table tennis club in the Tuscarawas / Holmes county area.
